Pictures taken from Manhattan bridge

I went out to walk across Manhattan bridge yesterday. Why? Because it is a good spor to take pics of Brooklyn bridge and the lower Manhattan area. I stayed there for some hours. Basically just taking the same picture over and over but at different lighting conditions. Here are some results. Hope you like them.

On a bridge? Just taking photos? Man, you got time. :)

But the last one was worth the effort. Really awesome pic. Have you edited it in some way? Because the reflections on the water are really quite nice.

Well you have to take your time when you want to take good pictures. And it does take some time for the sun to go down. Took about 300 pics on that bridge.

No nothing has been altered except the size of the pic. The camera just picks up those reflections when the exposure time is longer.

Nah, come on. You seriously took 300 pics that day?! Damn, I barely took that much during my last 2-week-vacation. But I guess you're right. Gotta take your time if you want good pictures.

"...when the exposure time is longer."
You did this on purpose? As in you knew this would happen? Anyhow - really love that pic. Day well spent.

Although this little "island" at the lower left kinda pulls your eye to it ;)

long live the slr! The last is the best, but nice to see the others for the time and contrast

the cam on tripod? or wasn't it a slr -cam...? i don't know how many options on exposure "normal" digicams have...

besides, when you go next time, try to make an hdr-pic... i guess that will look superawesome.

well, probs! nice work

I'm in manhattan too right now! It's SO great here! Hey Felix lass mal treffen!

Greetings from Germany

Hey felix (a fellow giga fan here :D) these pictures are astonishing! The third one looks somewhat surreal... i've never seen the manhatten bridge from this vantage point, where did you take this pictures?
